Yep, its 4x4 but the angle of the rims is all wrong there. It's like someone shopped them there.

I know about 10 years ago someone was putting a deal together to try to sell those in the US. Something tells me these would dissolve after one or two Midwestern winters.

These came up in conversation last night, as there were ROXOR commercials aired over christmas, “Dash, you ever heard of Mahindra” Then we watched videos of Hindustan Ambassadors.

Apparently the got them through epa and crash testing, which it passed but barely. The NA spec ones only returned 20 MPG instead of the 30 promised (probably gained weight to pass crash) They were ready to go, and it all fell apart, was a dealer network/importer scheme and not Mahindra itself. I wanted one at the time.
